Patient 4606
This is a healthy late 30s-year-old woman with 2 problems: Concerned about axillary breast tissue as well as descent of her breasts. She wanted to maintain her fullness but achieve a more compact and elevated breast footprint. She achieved this with a vertical reduction-mastopexy, by removing only a small amount of breast tissue from the lower pole of the breast. This elevated and projected her breasts in a more normal lateral location. In addition she had direct excision of the aberrant breast tissue in the armpit. She is very happy that she can wear clothes revealing her underarms with more confidence as well as improving her breast appearance.
