In 2009, Dr. Sharma transitioned his practice to the Seton Family of Hospitals Brackenridge Campus to further develop Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery Services to 46 county region of Central Texas. With this, Dr. Sharma has taken a more leadership role in the development of clinical, education and research programs for Brackenridge Hospital and advancing the delivery of plastic and hand surgery care for all in central Texas.
Using the latest techniques proven to be safe, effective and innovative, Dr. Sharma strives to have the patient return to normal or near-normal activities in the shortest duration of time.
Dr. Sharma has published numerous articles in both plastic surgery and hand surgery, and has been invited to present research at national meetings across the United States. He often gives lectures to many groups, both informational and educational, on topics such as breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and trauma reconstruction.
