Buffalo Hump – Liposuction
26 yo college student with protuberant fatty deposit at posterior neck known as a “buffalo hump” had trouble with school work with neck posture. Discomfort occurred with continuous forward flexion creating stress and tension on the shoulders and cervical spine. Patient underwent VASER liposuction of the abnormal fatty deposit and is much more comfortable, able to pursue her graduate degree and feel more confident with her appearance.
