Patient 4112

This gentleman had vision obstruction in the peripheral gaze but also had complaints of furrowed, angry brow appearance. He had a previous injury to the right brow giving the asymmetry noticed. Patient underwent an upper lids blepharoplasty with an internal browpexy to stabilize the brow position. In addition, we removed the muscles between the eyelids called the corrugators (through the same upper lid incisions) and performed a lower lid transconjunctival fat transposition lower blepharoplasty. Essentially smoothing out the lower eyelids by moving the fat out of the lower lids to the lower orbit. This keeps his masculine appearance and helps dissipate the lower fat bags in the lower eyelids. He now has a more youthful appearance with a less angry, tired look to the upper third of his face. He’s very pleased!
