Blepharoplasty
This is a late 50s woman who desired periorbital rejuvenation specifically the hooded eyelids as well as lower lid skin laxity and hollowness. She wanted to correct the fatigued appearance that masked her vivacious personality. She underwent quad blepharoplasty (upper and lower lids) with fat transposition of the fat compartments for the lower lids. This resulted in more youthful lower eyelids and a decrease in the lid-cheek junction, often a concern in facial aging.Her eyes are much more open and less tired and sad appearing.
She has a much brighter outlook and enlivened personality as a result. Patient has also had a unique procedure known as a lip lift–this was done to improve the lack of upper incisal show in neutral repose. That is she desired to have more teeth showing at rest or with a subtle smile. Her results are displayed elsewhere. She is seen 6 months post op.
