Periobital Rejuvenation

The eyes are said to be the windows to the soul. Why obscure the view with excess skin, puffy eyes and sagging, heavy eyelids?

Time, weather and gravity take their toll on the eyes and brow causing forehead wrinkles, bags under the eyes, and visual impairment often leading to a tired and sad appearance.

Periobital rejuvenation can brighten one's appearance, making the face appear more refreshed, youthful, and alert. Both men and women benefit from removal of excess eyelid skin and repositioning of the brows. Scars are generally very well hidden and are barely perceptible once healed. A thorough eye exam is encouraged and any relevant history pertaining to eye problems should be discussed with your plastic surgeon prior to undergoing surgery. The eye brows frame the eyes and are an integral part of periorbital rejuvenation. Often a browlift or "forehead lift" is needed in conjunction with eyelid surgery to reduce forehead wrinkles and effect youthful change. Brow lifts can be done via an endoscopic technique with minimal incisions, but the best surgical approach will be discussed with you at consultation.
