Dr. Sanjay K. Sharma, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a highly experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon (Diplomate, American Board of Plastic Surgery) who is dedicated to providing patients with superior cosmetic and reconstructive surgical results. In 2003, Dr. Sharma founded SKS Plastic Surgery, PA in Austin, Texas to provide the highest quality plastic surgery services to Central Texas residents. Whether he is creating or restoring breast shape, enhancing body shape, improving face, eyes or nose, or repairing the intricate and complex functional aspects of the hand, Dr. Sharma uses the latest and most effective surgical techniques based on extensive experience and highly specialized training in plastic, orthopedic, and general surgery.
Dr. Sharma is a Member, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a Fellow, American College of Surgeons, and the Director of Hand Surgery Services, University Medical Center Brackenridge Hospital. As a leader in the development of clinical, education and research programs for Brackenridge Hospital, Dr. Sharma is a distinguished professional providing specialized services and care in addition to cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for all in central Texas. He has published numerous articles in both plastic surgery and hand surgery and has been invited to present research at national meetings across the United States. He often speaks to groups, both informational and educational, on topics such as breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and trauma reconstruction.
